Visit Sompting Pumpkin Picking Patch on the 13th and 14th of October for your chance to pick your very own pumpkin. They have over 15 types of pumpkins and gourds as well as Halloween crafts, activities and food. The perfect family day out.
Descend into the terrifying tunnels of the Newhaven Fort for a tour of a post-apocalyptic world filled with spooky live characters! Gruesome goodies await in the Fort’s attraction, like the craft sessions in the activity centre. Plus, all the Halloween fun is included in the usual entrance admission. Visit from the 20th - 28th of October to ensure you don’t miss out on the Fort’s Halloween fun.
From creepy crawly encounters to fang-tastically frightening tattoos and face painting, Drusillas is the place to be this Halloween. The spooky surprises will keep your little horrors happy - with ghosts, ghouls and more. Located between Brighton and Eastbourne, the spooky happenings at Drusillas are on from the 20th to the 28th of October.
Apprentice witches and wizards can put their skills to the test this Halloween at Borde Hill Garden. There’s a bewitching concoction of activities including spooky storytelling, magical wand craft sessions, magic tricks and more. Borde Hill Garden is just a mile and a half away from Haywards Heath, and the Halloween magic is happening from the 20th to the 31st. Put your cloak on and grab your broomstick!
Are your children crafty? The Mexican Day of the Dead sugar skull workshop is the place for them. They will learn how to make their very own sugar skulls in a family friendly sewing workshop. It’s happening on the 25th of October at the Brighton Open Market, and all the materials are provided, plus tea and biscuits for the adults.
The expert entertainers at The Brunswick will entertain the kids on the 31st of October while you can sit back and relax. With Halloween dances like the Time Warp, magic shows, storytime and games, there’s lots of spellbinding fun to be had - for children and adults!
